The time has come to make your reservations for the 2010 NALF Reunion in Walt Disney World! Use the internet link below to view the hotel/accommodations, order your 'Convention' tickets and check out Walt Disney World in general.

Use this website to make your reservations to ensure you have the number of rooms you want for this year's reunion and see the facility (Disney's Yacht & Beach Club). You can generally 'cruise' around this website for other interesting information about Theme Parks, Dining, Nightlife, Golf and Recreation.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We currently have 60 rooms for Friday and 60 rooms for Saturday night (a total of 120) , so the earlier you make your reservations, the better chance you have of getting the number of rooms you need. You may call 407-934-3372 now to make your room reservation, be sure to identify yourself as a National Assoc of Lively Family group member.
There are 2 separate hotels with this property, the Yacht Club side and the Beach Club side. See the Helpful Hints below to decide which hotel you would like to reserve. Each room has 2 queen-size beds or one 1 king-size (please specify when you make your reservation) to accommodate up to 4 persons (2 adults, 2 children; $25 pp/per night for additional adults (18+ years) in same room) and private balcony. If handicapped rooms are required, please ensure you request this when making your reservation. Each hotel has their own registration lobby (note this is a change from the Winter Newsletter info)
Each room also includes and a small refrigerator, coffee maker, high-speed internet access ($9.95/day in room, free wireless in the hotel lobby and around the pool area), in-room safe, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and vanity area with 2 sinks.

PARK TICKETS
Please go on-line to www.disneyconventionear.com/NALF to view pricing for 'Convention Tickets' (after 2PM and after 4PM) and multi-day Convention tickets. If you do not have access to the internet, you may request park tickets when you when you make your reservation. If you are staying in Disney World for the reunion only, you might want to consider buying the 'convention tickets'. (Please note, if you wish to dine at any of the restaurants within the parks, you will need a park ticket. You will not need a park ticket to dine at any of the Disney Hotels) However, if you plan to stay longer than the Reunion time frame (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), I would recommend getting the multi-day pass as the longer you stay, the less you pay per day. Remember we are being offered the same hotel rate of $139 (+tax) for 3 days prior and 3 days after the reunion. Below is a quick example of ticket prices to give you an idea of the prices.

You may also buy the multi-day tickets through AAA (if you are a member) and you can also add the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More features through AAA as well. While there is no 'cost difference' between the AAA ticket price and the regular Disney ticket price, you would be able to purchase 1 ticket per month by visiting your local AAA office to help with your budget requirements.
Example of ticket prices for a multi-day Adult ticket:
-Pre-ordered Disney Convention Multi-Day (including tax): 3-day Park Hopper $259.77; 6-day Park Hopper $271.27
-AAA rates (including tax): 3-day Park Hopper: $288.62; 6-day Park Hopper: $301.42
-Price if purchased upon arrival (including tax): 3-day Park Hopper $288.62 ; 6-day Park Hopper $301.40
If you wish to purchase your tickets all at one time, the Disney Convention rates are best as you would save $28.85 on the 3-day ticket and $30.13 on the 6-day ticket.

HELPFUL HINTS
-If you have kids with you on this trip, you may want to consider staying on the Beach Club side of the hotel. These rooms are closer to the arcade, pool area and 'food park' area. The Yacht Club is closer to the meeting space, and these would be recommended for anyone wanting a little quieter space. PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH HOTEL YOU PREFER WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION.
-To reduce your 'food bill', consider visiting a grocery store for breakfast /lunch items or bring groceries with you if you are driving. Milk/juice, etc may be purchased in the 'food park' area or at a local market. Having the refrigerator in each room enables you to keep perishable items for breakfast and even pack a sandwich when you go to the parks.
-If you have never visited Disney World, consider purchasing a travel book (Amazon, AAA, Barnes & Noble) on Walt Disney World to plan your days before you arrive. These books give great tips on when to avoid which park on the busiest day. Example: When going to the Magic Kingdom, go straight to the back of the park and work your way to the entrance. Also, take advantage of the 'Fast Pass' feature for the most popular rides.
-If staying for the extended time, visit the parks early in the morning or late in the evening (take advantage of the 'Extra Hours' perk for staying on Disney property) and enjoy the pools, water parks, shopping, or just take a nap, etc during the heat of the day.
-If you wish to dine at the full-service restaurants, it is highly recommended you decide where/when you want to dine and make those reservations also when you book your room. You can make dinner reservations on-line or by phone up to 180 days before you arrive. Restaurant reservations go quickly, so if you have a favorite, book it now! Also, to ensure you have breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner at the time you want at the hotel, it was highly recommended by the Captain's Grill Restaurant that reservations be made the for days you staying at the hotel when you make your hotel reservation.
